Catching Up
Below is a picture showing my shoulders. No, I am not holding one up or down. This is in a relaxed state..son took the picture. The right side of the picture shows my normal shoulder and where it is at..with arrow. The left side of the picture shows my right shoulder that is injured and pulled all out of wack. No, it is not dislocated though it almost looks that way. The bones were twisted and pulled and the shoulder is down low and I am losing my grip with my hand. It can not be fixed as I am too dangerous to do surgery on. Hopefully, they can do some things to try to help me keep from losing my hand and arm strength. They are talking about sending PT to the house to help with the hand strength. Maybe a car jack would raise it back up. What do you think? LOL
The amazing thing to me….is how much pressure, strain and pulling happened to that shoulder and it did not dislocate though there is a lot of damage to it.
And now, on to better things. Son is so proud of his garden. Take a look…our Halloween pumpkin is growing on the vine. Look at this one in particular:
This big one above is called a Giant Pumpkin and is supposed to get three times that size. The one below is a sugar pumpkin and does not get much bigger than it is and great for pies.
And down below is butternut squash. Oh, we love these. Take them and roast them in the oven and they are delicious.
And this is one of son’s watermelons. He has several on this one plant. He was so excited to see them.
And the corn is over his head in areas and now has tassels showing. He was thrilled.
It turns out that my sons did get the green thumb from me.
And I am so glad. We are country people and love growing our own food.
And last, this was an old building I took a picture of on the way to Pueblo the other day. The artist is great.

Hope n pray they can help your shoulder at least enough to help and keep you walking. My neck is really painful and they won’t do anything. I don’t believe it is they can’t it is money and I have medicare and medikid.
Good to see your son’s garden that is super. I see so many places corn didn’t grow we don’t try for big things as we share a garden with several people at least 9 people.
Love n prayers.
I am so sorry they will not fix your neck hon or at least give you an injection in it. Maybe a pain specialist is who you need to see..one that does the injections in there. HUGS and love hon
