Dare To Dream

Roll In Shower Chairs and Gifts

Posted by Son:

Mom is very excited. The medical supply place called and her “roll in” shower chair is here. When we go back Thursday for the RFA and needles in the spine procedure again, on the way home I will pick it up. This will make taking showers so much easier as she can go from the bed to the shower, shower and back to bed without having to leave the chair and then just wear her robe going and coming back and once in bed, put on her clothes.  All to make quality of life better.

And on another note: we are waiting to hear from the doctors about the fact that the blood thinners have been stopped for the Radio Frequency Ablation spine procedures and will be stopped for a month as it takes four weeks to have this procedure completed. Mom takes something  to thin her blood for stroke issues and because we have a blood clotting disorder in the family…our blood clots too easily. It would not be much help if she got relief from the RFA procedures and had a stroke in the process. So the doctors are conferring and will call back this evening.

And a big thank you from Mom to the sweet person that sent her these healing bracelets. It really touched Mom’s heart and she is wearing them. What an angel you are to send them.

Mom sends love to you all.
