The Physical Therapist Visit

He brought the ultrasound machine to do treatment on my shoulder and says that he will be bringing special tape next time to do this taping of the shoulder to hold it in place and still allow me to use my hand and forearm. Things went quite well. He did the ultrasound and then checked the range and motion of the arm and assessed just where the damage is and said it was extensive…ranging from top of my shoulder all the way down to my wrist. He is coming for the next few weeks. The goal…to ease some of the pain since I am not a candidate for surgery due to my breathing and stuff and to keep me from losing the strength of my hand and arm.

Testing trigger points and range of motion. Said after a few weeks they could try “needling” or injections in the trigger points. Guess I am just doomed to be filled with needle holes. LOL

this was probably the most painful, pressing on trigger points and moving the arm to see just how far it could go before the pain was too bad.

And Jack, who was not happy because he had to stay back in the hallway to son’s room. He did not like someone messing with his mama.
